LA DCFS Internship Program
The Master of Social Work Internship Program Services is intended to identify and support the training of MSW students who after receiving their MSW degrees become LA County DCFS Children’s Social Workers.
MSW students are identified and trained through several partner universities, including Azusa Pacific University, California State University Dominguez Hills, California State University Long Beach, California State University Los Angeles, California State University Northridge, the University of California Los Angeles, and University of Southern California.
During the second year of their MSW program, each Intern is provided an $18,500 stipend towards tuition and fees committing to a one-year employment contract with DCFS after graduation.
