The Academy for newly promoted Supervising Children’s Social Workers currently involves ten days of training including California’s mandatory statewide standardized topics and curriculum for this audience.
The SCSW Academy also includes a one-day Orientation, mandatory training for certification as a Field Advisor, and additional DCFS-required courses on performance and risk management, legal issues, and team building
